Sai has trained and worked with “Institute of Productive Tension” to help clients manage their “Creative & Productive Tension” to overcome their potential barriers to change. Sai is a trained process facilitator, OD & Leadership specialist. He is an applied psychologist and trained to administer, interpret and offer developmental coaching counsel to people. Sai’s experience in OD & Leadership effectiveness coupled with Assessment & Development centers culminated into the birth of Coach4Excellence and eventually TheCoach & CoachEval.

Sai in the past held senior corporate leadership positions until 2003. Sai was one of the 1st and earliest credentialed coaches in the region, while coaching was still in its inception stage. He extensively evangelized coaching movement in the region, besides having trained and certified over 450 coaches in the region. He is empaneled ICF Coach Assessor for ACC, PCC and MCC credential.

6A Coaching Approach

The paradigm of the 6A Integrated Approach is grounded in the coaching principles, which reiterates that the client is unique & in a situation which they know the best. Consequently the principle states that they know best how to solve their problem. We also believe that most of the solutions are hidden in unconscious awareness.

Therefore, the role of the coach is to raise the client’s level of awareness around their Immunities and Situation, establish the causes & the possible alternatives to solve the problem/s, thereby leading them to translate it to commitment through efficient growth actions with high accountability for implementation and change.

6A Coaching Approach

1.“Assess” the client’s behavior & their ecosystem and the consequent stimuli. The coach essentially would be dealing with an individual or a group, it is imperative to raise their collective “Awareness” levels at an intra, inter-personal, & systemic level as a result of the individual, and environment assessment, consequently facilitate the individual or the group to acknowledge the new insights shared with them through a feedback system as a result of assessments, interviews, etc.

2. Translate their awareness into “Aspiration/s” for change, largely results in the form of productivity, development of functional behaviors. In the event the coaching client plays a managerial role, then the belief is that the individual should be able to practice coaching within their leadership collective, which in turn will permeate as a ‘coaching culture’ within the organization.

3. Orient / Aid the client to hone their “Abilities” to accomplish the desired outcome as envisaged by the sponsor, in a way an alignment is brought about by the process.

4. Encourage the coachee/client to “Account” the process input and output with an adult ego; such that they hold themselves committed and accountable to the larger deliverables as expected by the sponsor, through the application of CoachEval. Formulate corrective actions by conducting a PDCA process.

 

5. Move the client collective to push and critique themselves with candour so that they hold themselves accountable & “Achieve” results, in a way propagating a performance & productivity culture in the organisation.

6. Provide Follow-up support, through individualized coaching sessions that accelerates them through the journey.
